My Name is Rob Nill and I am the new Activities Director at Randolph School District. I have spent the last 16 years in Beaver Dam where I served in a variety of ways. I started at the Beaver Dam Alternative School where I worked with Middle and High School students that were struggling to find their place in the bigger middle and high school buildings. After 3 years there, I moved into a Physical Education role at the elementary level. I spent time in 6 different buildings over a 13 year period, helping my students understand the importance of being active while building relationships with staff, students, and parents. During this time I coached JV boys soccer for one year, Varsity Head Coach for Girls soccer for 14 and most recently was the Varsity Football kicking coach for 2 years.
Prior to my time in Beaver Dam I attended a small 4 year college in Nebraska called York College. I was a 4 year athlete in both Soccer and Track. I also earned my degree in Education and Athletic Training. Upon graduation, I became a College Recruiter and Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach at the school before moving to Beaver Dam. In 2020, I completed my Masters in Education Administration from Concordia University.
I have a passion for Activities and Athletics and helping students find their outlets that bring them joy, contribute to their future, and help build the community they live in. I believe that every student should participate in something that builds skills like how to work together with others, how to win and lose, work ethic and most of all how to be a part of something they can be proud of. I am excited at the passion I see in Randolph and look forward to bringing my energy and enthusiasm to this position to help maintain and grow the school and the community it is supported by.
“Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.” ~Pele
